Experience

  • No previous experience is required but to apply you will need to have
  • Obtained or expect to obtain a 2.1 degree in any discipline, or equivalent
  • A minimum of 120 UCAS Tariff points from your top 3 A-levels, or equivalent (300 using the old tariff)
  • A minimum of Level 6 (B grade using the old system) in GCSE Maths and English Language, or equivalent
  • The right to work in the UK without restrictions for the duration of the training contract
  • Live within commutable distance of Ilkley

Salary of £25k

28 days holiday plus statutory holidays

Expense account

A comprehensive, fully supervised training programme spanning approximately 36 months.

You will begin by completing the Association of Tax Technicians (ATT) qualification before progressing to become a Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA). Training includes a mix of classroom-based taught courses with leading training providers, private study, and regular testing.

Paid study leave is granted and full coverage of course and exam fees for your first attempts.

  • Compliance and work flow – TaxCalc
  • Authorised Partners to the DiSC psychometric profiling system, offering clients advanced strategic planning, leadership and team building, coaching and peer board support.

We work across sectors for SME’s that aspire to grow and / or improve the performance of their business.

Our typical client has a £1.5m turnover with 10 or more staff. We do not typically act for clients who have been operating for less than 3 years, or who have a turnover of less that £500K, or who are based more than 50 miles from Leeds.

We have modern office and meeting room facilities in Ilkley, with serviced offices and meeting room facilities at ‘Platform’ in Leeds.
